Isobel Wells has been an animal lover for as long as she can remember. Growing up in the picturesque countryside of Yorkshire, she was always surrounded by various pets, from dogs and cats to rabbits and horses. After earning her degree in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Edinburgh, Isobel worked as a veterinarian for several years before transitioning to writing. Her profound understanding of animal health and welfare shines through in her informative and engaging articles. When she’s not writing, Isobel enjoys hiking with her two Golden Retrievers, Max and Bella.
Georgia Johnston
Georgia Johnston is a passionate advocate for animal rescue and adoption. Hailing from London, she spent her early years volunteering at local animal shelters and fostering numerous pets. Georgia’s love for storytelling led her to pursue a degree in Journalism from the University of Manchester. Combining her writing skills with her passion for pets, Georgia specializes in heart-warming stories and practical advice on pet training and behaviour. At home, she is the proud guardian of three rescue cats, Luna, Milo, and Jasper, who often inspire her work.
Louise Short
Louise Short brings a wealth of experience in pet nutrition and holistic care to The Star Paws. Born and raised in Bristol, Louise developed a keen interest in animal nutrition while working at her family’s pet supply store. She went on to study Animal Science at the University of Nottingham and later became a certified pet nutritionist. Louise’s articles focus on providing balanced diets and natural remedies for pets, ensuring their well-being from the inside out. In her spare time, Louise enjoys experimenting with homemade pet treats and spending time with her two mixed-breed dogs, Toby and Daisy.
